St Andrews 107 parents, staff and students came together to celebrate International Day and to acknowledge that we are a school made up of 40 Nationalities from all over the globe. The morning started with the parade of nations where children proudly marched around the school with their country’s flag.
A showcase of performances ranging from Thai instruments and Bollywood dancing to the school rock band playing hit songs from the United States.
Our Primary children “travelled” around the world, visiting Wales, Netherlands, Italy, India, Nepal, China, Scotland, England, Korea, Japan, France and Australia. Parents and teachers worked together in decorating the classrooms and setting up up engaging, country-specific activities for each class to provide this cultural experience. The children thoroughly enjoyed this experience and found they learned even more about each other’s countries and cultures. A truly enriching day!
